After creating your birthday message template, you can schedule the birthday message to be delivered at a different time. To schedule your birthday message, please follow these instructions:
- In the menu on the left side of your "Dashboard", select the "Scheduled" tab.
- Select a scheduled message to edit, use the "+Message" button above the calendar on the left side to create a new message.
- To select the recipient(s) you would like to send this out to, you will start by selecting the "Person Icon" in the "To" field.
- The "Person Icon" opens a list of contacts, here you can select which contact you would like the birthday message to deliver to.
- In the "Date" field, click the "Calendar Icon" on the right side, this will open a calendar where you can select the date the message will be delivered on.
- In the "Time" field, click the "Clock" icon on the right side, this will open a window where you can select the time you would like for this to go out on your scheduled date.
- Click on the "Blue Arrow" on the right side of the "Frequency" field to open a drop-down menu with options of how frequently you would like this message to be delivered, for the birthday message, we will select the "Annually" option to ensure this delivers every year.
- In the "Message" field, you will type out what you would like the birthday message to say.
- Select "Save" at the bottom right to save changes, and have your birthday message scheduled to deliver.
If you go to select save, and an error message pops up above the message that states "This contact has not consented to receive texts. Send Consent Now" you will proceed with clicking "Send Consent Now" and try scheduling this again once they have consented to receive texts.
