How do I send a template message? (Mobile)

Use saved message templates in the MyRepChat mobile app to send fast texts.

Template messages let you quickly send pre‑written, approved text messages from the MyRepChat mobile app without re‑typing the same content each time. They are ideal for common communications like appointment reminders, follow‑ups, and introductions, while still allowing you to personalize details before sending.

Sending a template message 

Follow these steps to create a text message on the MyRepChat mobile app using a pre-written template.

1. In the Messages tab on the mobile app, select one of your existing message threads or start a new message by tapping the Messages 🗩 + icon in the lower‑right corner. 

   

2. Tap the + icon next to the Type message box to open the attachment options.

   

3. From the options menu, select Templates.

   

4. A list of your available templates will appear; select the checkbox next to the template you would like to send.
5. The template text will insert into the text box, where you can edit it before sending.

6. Tap the paper airplane icon to send your text immediately, or confirm your schedule if you set a future send time.

   

Creating/Editing Templates

1. To create a new template or edit an existing one, tap the More tab. 

   

2. Select Templates under the Messages section:

   

3. From there, you can tap + Create new template 

   

4. Use the 3-dot icon on the right of an existing template to edit or delete a template
