How Do I Setup Email Notifications For Incoming Messages (Desktop)

You can configure email notifications to be sent to your inbox whenever you receive a text message in MyRepChat. This feature can be particularly useful if you tend to monitor your email more closely than MyRepChat itself.

Steps to Setup Email Notifications:

1. In the menu on the left side of your "Dashboard," click "Auto Responses"
   
   
   
   
2. Click the "+Auto Response" to create a new Auto Response
   
   
   
   
3. Confirm the "When An" field says "Incoming SMS"
   
   
   
   
4. Leave the "Equals" field blank
   
   
   
   
5. Click the "Then" drop-down, to change this to "Send Email To"
   
   
   
   
6. Type the desired email address in the "Message" text box that says "Type Here"
   
   
   
   
7. Use the toggle, to enable the email notifications and turn them on. 
   (Green = On, Red = Off) 
   
   
   
8. Click "Save" on the bottom right
   
   
   
   
   

How Will The Email Notification Look?

From your email inbox, this will be a plain text email that contains the contact name as well as their message.
