What is an "Out-Of-Office Auto-Response?"
When you're going to be out of the office and need to inform your contacts about your absence, setting up an automatic response can be helpful. This automated message will be sent to them when they try to reach you via text, ensuring they are aware of your unavailability and that you will respond to them once you return.
Steps to Setup Your Out-Of-Office Auto-Responder:
- Click "Settings" at the bottom of the Dashboard menu
- Beneath "Preferences" click "Out of office response"
- Type your desired message into the "Type Here" text box beneath "Message"
- Click the "toggle button" to turn your out-of-office response, on or off.
(Red = Off, Green = On) - Click "Save" to turn this on and save your changes.
What will the Out-Of-Office Auto Response look like?
When you receive a message, and the out of office auto response is turned on you will still be able to see their message pop up in your notifications, and it would look like the image below from your account.
When the client receives the out-of-office auto response, it will just look like a normal text message but you can see this below.
