Integrating your MyRepChat account with Microsoft Dynamics is a great way to ensure accurate client information is used within MyRepChat, as well as facilitate the storage of all conversations within the contact record in your CRM.
The Integrations choices allow MyRepChat and Microsoft Dynamics to easily transfer data based on the settings established by the user.
Set up Integration:
To set up the integration, from the Dashboard, go to Settings-->Integrations-->Connect to CRM.
Scroll to locate the Microsoft Dynamics logo and click on it:
Enter your domain name for Dynamics and then click 'Connect to Dynamics.' You will be redirected to the Dynamics login page. Once you have logged in and allowed access to your account, you will be redirected back to your MyRepChat account.
Toggle the 'Enable' button to green.
In the 'Send messages to CRM' section, choose the appropriate checkbox.
Click 'Save.'
Search Behavior:
Each CRM is different for search behavior and may contain certain limitations. These are behaviors specific to Dynamics:
- Name searches without a space will look for the search field in either the first or last name field in Dynamics. For example, a search for 'Jo' will return both 'Joe Smith' and 'Tom Jones'.
- Name searches that contain a space will look for a first name that contains the search field before the space, and a last name that contains the search after the space. For example, if you search for 'To Jo' it will return 'Tom Jones'
- Phone number searches look in all phone number fields and is a "contains" search so you can search for the last 4 digits of a phone number. No dashes are required.
- We don't currently support a search by group. If you would like us to implement a group search, please let us know.
