How do I send positive consent to a Distribution List? (Group)

When using MyRepChat for texting with your clients, your firm may require those clients to grant consent for texting.  We refer to this as Positive Consent.  If your firm has this requirement established on our platform, the first time you attempt to text a client you will see a pop up message requiring you to send your firm-specific positive consent message to that client, and every client, you wish to text with.

If the client wishes to text with you, they need to text back 'ACCEPT'.

If your client wishes to opt out of texting, they need to text 'STOP'.

If your client accidentally opted out but wants to opt in, they need to text 'START'.

If you want to send this message to many people at one time:

Go To Messages > Compose Message

Search for your Distribution List:

Select the distribution list by clicking on it.

Click on the (thumbs up icon)

After you have selected the thumbs up icon it will notify you that your positive consent message has been sent out.
