Through MyRepChat's Voice features, you are able to receive inbound and make outbound calls to your contacts if you have enabled the Voice Add-On.
*If you have text enabled a landline or VOIP line, this article does not pertain to you.
Inbound Call Experience:
When your contact calls you, the following will occur:
1. We will forward the call to your Mobile Phone.
2. The caller ID on your mobile phone (if chosen) will show you the phone number of the caller. If you have a contact in your mobile phone with this number, your mobile phone will most likely display that contact's name.
3. When you answer the call you will be immediately connected to the caller. If you ignore the call by not answering it, after 15 seconds (default) the call will stop ringing on your phone and the caller will hear your custom MRC voicemail greeting (if you recorded one) and be able to leave a recorded message in MyRepChat that will appear in your message history with that phone number.
4. If, when the call is ringing, you select your phone's "decline" function, what will happen is that your mobile phones voicemail will answer the call, the caller will hear your mobile phones voicemail greeting, and the caller will be leaving a message on your mobile phone.
Outbound Call Experience:
When you make an outbound call to your clients, we will place a call between you and your client, it will look like you are receiving a call from your MyRepChat number, you will answer while we continue to call your client. They will see the call coming from the MyRepChat number in their caller ID.
