If your group is configured with SAML, you can log in via Single Sign On (SSO), which allows you to use your username/password from your company's portal instead of needing to keep a separate username/password for just MyRepChat.
There are two ways to log in to MyRepChat:
- MyRepChat initiated SSO: Go to MyRepChat first and the login page will redirect you to your normal company's portal to login. Once logged in, the portal will redirect you back logged in.
- A MyRepChat 'app' in your company's portal: Clicking on the app will automatically log you into MyRepChat.
The process works similarly for both the browser-based web app and the MyRepChat mobile app. The screenshots below show MyRepChat initiated SSO and MyRepChat integrated with OneLogin, which is an identity provider. Your identity provider will look different.
Browser-based Web App
The MyRepChat web app shows the normal login page with no login. Enter your company's email address:
Your browser will be redirected to your company's normal login page:
Once you log in, rather than being in your company portal, you'll be redirected back to MyRepChat:
MyRepChat Mobile App
The MyRepChat mobile app shows the normal login page with no password. Enter your company's email address:
Once you enter your email, an embedded browser is opened and we redirect to your normal login portal. In this case, it redirected to the OneLogin login page:
Enter your OneLogin username/password, click Login and you will be redirected back to MyRepChat logged in. MyRepChat never sees or stores the login username/password entered in your portal.
Once logged in, you will be asked if you want to use biometrics to log in. If you click 'Yes' you'll be able to use your normal 'biometric' you use on your phone. This lasts for 7 days but can be modified by your company's IT staff.
