Within your group admin account we have added "Account Messages". You can set "Account Messages" from two different sections - (1) The group setup page or (2) From an individual account.
If you set a group message from the group set up page the message will appear to all accounts in your group until the message has been acknowledged.
Account Message setup (For Group):
You will first want to click on the Group Setup tab from within your Group Admin page. Once you have done this click on the "Accounts" sub-tab, scroll down to the last section "Account Pop Up Message"
You will now be able to enter in your account message and click "Create". Note: You can expand message box using the in the lower right drag point. Drag corner of the message box to resize as necessary.
Some things to know:
- This message can also not be edited for all accounts in mass.
- This message can be managed in each individual account (see Individual Section).
- This message cannot be edited/deleted once it has been acknowledged.
- This message applies only to accounts that are active prior to the message being created. In other words a person who creates an account after your message has been created will not receive the account message.
Account Message setup (For Individual Accounts)
In the same way you can create an Account Message for individual MyRepChat accounts. To set up an individual account message:
From the Account's tab, select the account you would like to create the message for. The right panel will open up with the account settings. Scroll down to the Messages section.
Click on the "Add Message" button to create a new message.
Once you have typed your message, click "Ok". The message will save automatically.
Managing Account Messages
From the individual account you are able to manage the account messages. You will see when the message was delivered and when it was acknowledged by the account's user.
Note: You can edit/remove the account message if the message has not yet been acknowledged.
